Description

FOSC-D5 Series is a dome-type fiber optic splice closure designed to connect distribution cables and incoming fiber optic cables in outdoor communication, FTTx, CATV, and network systems. The closure uses an injection-molded engineering plastic housing with anti-aging, anti-corrosion, flame-retardant, waterproof, anti-vibration, and anti-shock properties to protect fiber splices from harsh outdoor environments.

The closure features a dome-to-base structure, heat-shrink sealing, up to 12 splice trays, and a loose buffer storage basket for organized fiber management. Its hinged tray design allows access to individual splice trays without disturbing other trays, making installation and maintenance easier. With IP68-rated protection, 1 oval port, 5 round ports, and up to 288F splice capacity, FOSC-D5 is suitable for aerial, wall/pole-mounted, and direct-buried applications.
